Time to Relax in the Mountains

Time to relax in the mountains, and there's nowhere like Canmore AB to de-stress and detoxify.

After a lazy five hour drive from home in Spruce Grove to Canmore, a prebooked massage at Wildflower Massage and Esthetics was nothing short of brilliant. It set the tone for the weekend. Julie and the girls set things right.

Soon after we were checked in at the Worldmark by Wyndemm in the sheltered embrace of the Three Sisters of the Rockies. Soon after we were settled we were in the hot tub.

For supper we went over to the Iron Goat Pub and Grill situated on the north side of the highway right by this beautiful little chocolate shop, Le Chocolatier In the same little strip mall was a wine shop. So even before supper we had already bought a bottle of wine and a bag of dark chocolate, my favorite

Supper was to be expected - excellent. The service was quick. The only problem was with my eyes. I ordered wild game meatloaf but it came with smashed sweet potatoes, which I don't like, so I ordered what I thought was beef risotto that turned out to be bright red. Yes, beet risotto . I tried it anyway and it wasn't that bad.

After another trip to the hot tub to finish off the day, it was an early night.

The next morning was a late start. Strolling around town works up the appetite so we tried a new to us restraunt serving Mexican food. I had a beef burrito 3x the size I would normally have. It was awesome.

Then we checked out the victory second hand store for fun.

The test of the afternoon was spent wandering around the Nordic Center grounds. We should have brought our bikes. Nice place.

For supper we went to our usual spot, Woods. They have the best braised bison short ribs. I ate too much again.

Another early night.

Did another hot tub in the morning then checked out. We went to the very busy family restaurant for a wonderful breakfast. That's why it was so busy, the food and service was that good.

Then it was a slow uneventful ride home Just a beautiful day for a drive.

Moving On

I'm moving on to a new website for my Network Marketing. meet me at Northern Trials: Adventures in Online Marketing

I think I'll use this blog for the family stuff and kudos to the people I meet that impress me with their work. Maybe a few travel blog posts as well. We'll see.

The advertising on this page is for products I use so I know they are worth the time to look into.

Until next time...

I'm in the process of setting up a new BLOG site on my own server and that will be coming out soon so stay tuned.

Today I Crammed Another Bootcamp

I spent most of the day today following the Boot camp links and videos for setting up my back office of MyLeadSystemPro. I now have my website working for me.

I also setup Adwords on Google and setup 2 ads to track and wrote a bunch of notes on more.

I've listened to so many people today doing what I wish to do but it is not a get rich quick system and I have to learn patience. It will come.

I've Been In Bootcamp All Morning

So I started doing some of the Boot camps for the different MLM campaigns I've chosen. Right now my head is spinning. I see the potential. I also see that is is going to be a lot of work.

My focus today is on Magnetic Sponsoring by Mike Dillard so far I've gone through half the course already and have begun to implement some of the features. This is really COOL stuff.

Back From a Long Run

So we made a whirlwind trip through the mountains with a utility trailer full of stuff my sister-in-law couldn't move in the van. It was a 4 day event with a small side tour to Wells Grey Park to look at waterfalls. We had a great trip and for one that wasn't planned, it went along quite well. We didn't know we were going until about 3 days beforehand.

If you're in the area, we stopped at Rivermount Motel (1.866.816.7912) for the night. It's about 15 minutes south from where you turnoff Hwy 16 to Wells Grey Park Just north of the town of Little Fort. We had a restful night right beside the river and the best breakfast we've had in a while.
